Community in Motion, Powered by SIMPLi
Our Moved By Motherhood Strava challenge was meant to bring moms together around one simple goal: move every day. What began as a commitment to 30 minutes of walking turned into a multi-state wellness initiative rooted in connection, accountability, and community.
Activated across New York, California, and Florida, the challenge lived both online through Strava and in real life through local gatherings. Moms showed up for themselves and for each other, logging their walks and building momentum together.
The Challenge
Participants committed to walking 30 minutes per day for the duration of the challenge, totaling roughly 11 hours of movement per person. Walks were tracked on Strava using the “with kid” tag to reflect the reality of motherhood and movement happening side by side.
Those who completed the challenge earned a SIMPLi badge in the Strava app along with a digital coupon for one free SIMPLi product.
Community Impact
The response was inspiring:
-
23,000 total participants
-
500+ members joined the Strava page
-
7 in-person Mom Walks hosted
-
Activation across 3 key states
From neighborhood sidewalks to local parks, moms carved out time to prioritize their health while staying connected to a broader community.
The Bigger Takeaway
Moved By Motherhood reinforced something powerful: when moms are given a reason and a rhythm to move, they show up. By combining daily accountability with real-world connection, this partnership created space for consistent, attainable wellness.
For SIMPLi, it was a meaningful way to support families beyond the pantry and stand alongside moms in the everyday habits that help them feel strong, steady, and supported.
