  1. Prepare your SIMPLi Red Kidney Beans according to package instructions with SIMPLi Spice Salt.

  2. Preheat your oven to 300 degrees. Sauté your chopped yellow onion for about 3-5 minutes until delightfully soft.

  3. In a large bowl, combine the tomato sauce, honey, brown sugar, flour, syrup, SIMPLi Pink Salt, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, 1 tbsp of Fly By Jing Zhong Sauce, and water. Stir it all together until you have a tantalizing mixture. Add the sautéed onions into this flavor-packed blend.

  4. Place your drained and rinsed beans into an 8x8 glass or ceramic baking dish.

  5. Pour the BBQ mixture over the beans and give it all a good mix. You want the beans to be submerged in the delicious liquid, and the mixture should be nice and loose. If it's a tad too condensed, just add a bit more water.

  6. Cover your baking dish with oven-safe foil and let those beans bake for 1 hour. This slow and low cooking method will infuse them with incredible flavor.

  7. After 1 hour, uncover the dish and let the beans bake for another 30 minutes uncovered. This will give them a delectable caramelization on top.
