SIMPLi x PACHA x CHi-RIZO Plant-Based Sloppy Joes

Ingredients:

½ cup Onion

½ cup Bell pepper
-
CHi Foods Original Ground Pork

3 Garlic
-
Pacha Buckwheat Buns Sourdough Bread
BBQ sauce:
-
2 tsp Coconut sugar
-
1 tsp Cumin
-
1 tsp Smoked paprika
-
2/4 cup Ketchup
-
½ tsp Maple syrup
-
½ tsp ACV
-
2 tsp Mustard
Toppings
-
Slaw (mix vegan mayo with sliced cabbage and a drop of vinegar and SIMPLi salt)
Instructions

Cook SIMPLi Kidney Beans according to package directions or with a pressure cooker

Combine all of the sauce ingredients in a small bowl and mix until combined.

Preheat a pan with a dash of oil and add the chopped bell pepper, onion, and garlic.

After about 5 minutes, add the CHi pork and let it cook for 4 minutes.

After 4 minutes, add the BBQ sauce and SIMPLi Kidney Beans and mix it all in. Let it cook on low heat for 5 minutes.

While you’re finishing up with that, toast your Pacha bread buns.

In a small bowl, combine the chopped cabbage, vegan mayo, a splash of apple cider vinegar, and a pinch of salt.

Assemble your mini joes with the meat and slaw and top with a pickle slice.
