Plant Based Joe Recipe

Ingredients:

BBQ sauce:

  • 2 tsp Coconut sugar

  • 1 tsp Cumin

  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika

  • 2/4 cup Ketchup

  • ½ tsp Maple syrup

  • ½ tsp ACV

  • 2 tsp Mustard

  • SIMPLi Peruvian Pink Salt

Toppings

  • Slaw (mix vegan mayo with sliced cabbage and a drop of vinegar and SIMPLi salt)

Plant Based Recipe

Instructions

  1. Cook SIMPLi Kidney Beans according to package directions or with a pressure cooker

  2. Combine all of the sauce ingredients in a small bowl and mix until combined.

  3. Preheat a pan with a dash of oil and add the chopped bell pepper, onion, and garlic.

  4. After about 5 minutes, add the CHi pork and let it cook for 4 minutes.

  5. After 4 minutes, add the BBQ sauce and SIMPLi Kidney Beans and mix it all in. Let it cook on low heat for 5 minutes.

  6. While you’re finishing up with that, toast your Pacha bread buns.

  7. In a small bowl, combine the chopped cabbage, vegan mayo, a splash of apple cider vinegar, and a pinch of salt.

  8. Assemble your mini joes with the meat and slaw and top with a pickle slice.
