  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease an 8x8-inch baking pan with SIMPLi Olive Oil Blend or line it with parchment paper.

  1. In a food processor or high-powered blender, combine the black beans, oats, cocoa powder, oil, maple syrup (or honey), vanilla extract, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt. Blend until you have a smooth and creamy batter.

  1. Stir in half of the chocolate chips into the batter.

  1. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.

  1. Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips (or chocolate sprinkles—like we did) on top.

  1. Bake the brownies in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes or until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs (not wet batter).

  1. Remove the brownies from the oven and let them cool in the pan for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
