This fusion of bold Mediterranean flavors and ingredients—from luscious labneh to peppery olive oil to crunchy dukkah to buttery gigante beans—culminates in this heavenly dish that will have you dreaming about it for weeks.

SIMPLi Zhoug Gigante Beans

  • 1/3 cup shelled pistachios

  • 1/4 cup raw almonds

  • 2 tbsp whole coriander seeds

  • 2 tbsp ground cumin seeds

  • 2 tbsp whole sesame seeds

  • 1/4 tsp ground cayenne pepper

  • 1 tsp SIMPLi Peruvian Pink Salt

  1. Cook the SIMPLi Gigante Beans according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain and set aside.

  2. Prepare the zhoug sauce by combining the minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, red pepper flakes, and lemon juice in a food processor. With the processor running, slowly drizzle in 1/4 cup of SIMPLi Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Blend until the mixture is well combined.

  3. In a skillet, heat a drizzle of SIMPLi Olive Oil Blend and spinach leaves over medium heat. Once the spinach has wilted, add the cooked SIMPLi Gigante Beans and zhoug sauce, ensuring the beans are evenly coated with the aromatic mixture.

  4. Arrange a generous dollop of labneh on a serving plate or bowl. Spoon the beans in zhoug sauce over the labneh. Drizzle a touch of SIMPLi Extra Virgin Olive Oil over the top.

  5. Garnish with pickled onions, dukkah, and SIMPLi Pink Salt. Enjoy!

  2. Spread out all ingredients except the salt and cayenne an a baking sheet.

  3. Toast in the oven for 8-10 minutes or until the golden brown and fragrant.

  4. Transfer to a food processor. Pulse until coarsely ground, but not fine.

  5. Add to a bowl or jar and add the SIMPLi Pink Salt and cayenne. Shake to combine.
