Gigante Beans a Limone



  1. Cook the Gigante beans according to package instructions until they are tender and creamy.

  2. Add heavy cream to a dutch oven and bring it to a slight simmer.

  3. Add zest of one lemon and the minced garlic to the cream and let simmer for 5 minutes.

  4. Whisking constantly, add 1 tbsp of butter at a time.

  5. Add the cooked, rinsed, and drained beans into the sauce and stir to combine.

  6.  Simmer for 10 minutes to let the sauce thicken.

  7. Add the parmesan, a pinch of SIMPLi Salt, and stir until smooth and glossy.

  8. Serve with a glass of chilled Bonterra Chardonnay, and top with a squeeze of lemon juice, chopped parsley, fresh cracked pepper, and another pinch of SIMPLi Salt to taste.
