Hi Mary – Lizzie here from the SIMPLi team! To clarify, these DO NOT need to be soaked before baking in the oven. Our beans are dehydrated and pre-cooked so you can skip the soaking process to cook them more quickly. If you would like to soak them before cooking, you absolutely can. This will make them cook even more quickly. Don’t hesitate to reach out to info@eatsimpli.com with further questions.
Hi Rebecca – Lizzie here from the SIMPLi team! Sorry you’re having trouble with the cooking time on these. Cooking may vary depending on a number of factors like altitude, oven temperature, and more. Try turning your heat down to 425F or 400F, and checking the beans halfway through cooking. Looking forward to hearing if that works! If not, please reach out to info@eatsimpli.com and we’ll get you additional help.
I’ve tried this twice using just the dried beans rinsed and patted dry. First batch burned by 15 minutes. Second batch half burned at 7 minutes. HELP!!
Please clarify- for this recipe you do not soak the lupini beans? You roast them from dried and rinsed only?
Thank you for clarification
